Searches in the more recent past
« on: Tuesday 30 May 06 09:33 UTC (UK) »

A few years ago I was fortunate enough to 'inherit' a large quantity of old family photographs and some of these belonged to a late great aunt. Of particular interest were several of a wedding in Durban together with an invitation dated 1958 addressed to my gt aunt in England.
My aunt was born in 1887 and I know that she helped the young man in the photo and his mother after his father died and eventually when his mother died he emigrated to SA, possibly in the early 1950's.
I have been trying to trace any living relatives to see if they would be interested in having the photo's (unless they already have them), but where to start?.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Good place is his name! Pass it on by PM and I will see what I can find as I live in Durban.
