William Brunton Death look up?

Hello to all! Can anyone help me, I have tried every thing to no avail and i have been looking for months now! sigh.
My family say that he died in around 1949 (around the time of my fathers birth sep 1949) he lived in the gateshead area all his life and his second wife Isabel Evelyn ? died there in 2001 she had one daughter Mary. His first wife Maggie binnington b. Jun 1894 died young after having two daughters Dora (died young) and Alice May (my grandmother) I have been told that he was a merchant seaman by trade but died in the newcastle area (gateshead) I swear i am going mad but for all the reasearch i am STILL turning up a blank. Any help would be very very much appreciated. Dx

Have you tried 1837.com? It has the full registers but there is a fee for viewing the pages. Hope this may help. Frances

Thanks for the reply Fances! I have looked there but to no avail! Sigh. Still i have an idea how old he was now so i shall start at the beginnng again! LOL

This really does sometimes get very very (pulls out another clump of hair) fustrating! LOL D x
