Married 17 November 1840 Ellington (Occupation: In the Kelly's Directory William was listed as a grave digger)
Ann Hart Carress is buried Hull Western Cemetery Died 7 October 1898
(Notes: On Ann Hart's marriage licenses her father name is spelt Ancorn?)
1 Thomas born: 1843 Great Paxton, Cambs.
Possible: 1 son: Arthur Carress born: 1877 Tranby Croft, Anlaby (was liviing with Grandmother Ann Hart Carress in 1881 census)
2 George Samuel born: 1846 Granffham Hunts, Occupation: Waterworks Lab. Married: Emma Wood born: 1850 Springhead (daughter of Francis Wood and Betsy Richardson) Died: 26 September 1918, buried: 30 September 1918 Hull Western Cemetery. George Samuel died: 9 April 1928, buried: 13 April 1928 Hull Western Cemetery.

This is all the information I have so far on the Carress line. George Samuel the son of William is my direct line. The George born 1887 to Beatrice Jackson is also my direct line.
