Were Jabez and James ALDRED one and the same, or were they brothers separated by exactly one year, to the day? Sons of Robert ALDRED and Elizabeth, James was baptised 25 Jan 1658/1659, at the Independent church, Great Yarmouth. Jabez was baptised 25 Jan 1659, at the Independent church. Jabez and James are two separate names, not forms of one name. They supposedly later moved to Lowestoft, Suffolk, James marrying Anne about 1684, and Jabez marrying Margett about 1680 -- I think! Can anyone solve this mystery for me? Thanks. Susan in Oregon, U.S.A.
