John Brown born ca. 1806 Wellington married Sarah Hazlewood b. Pattingham, staffs. In 1841 living in Hollinswood Shifnal with wife Sarah , son William and daughters Jane, Margaret, Sarah and Eliza Occ. Patternmaker, later became a Millwright.
I think his father was also a John Brown b. ca. 1780 who in 1841 was living in Redlake with wife Sarah (also a Hazlewood ) son Samuel and daughters Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah.

Hi there
Thanks for posting your information, but can I just ask what exactly it is that you are trying to find out about the Brown family?

Hi I am trying to prove that John Brown b. 1806/7 was the son of John Brown b. ca. 1780. There were three John Browns born in Wellington in 1806/7 1806 Parents Benjamin and Elizabeth 1807 " William and Elizabeth 1807 " John and Sarah
As John b. 1780 and John b. 1806 were both Patternmakers, and because they both married Hazlewoods, I have presumed (not proven) that they are father and son. I am also looking for anyone who shares the same ancestors who could perhaps guide me in the right direction., i.e. if the above assumptions are correct, who are the parents of John b. ca. 1780, again there are 3 possibilities. I don't get the chance to go to England to do much research so any help is appreciated.
Trish
