Andrew Stirling of Bonnyfield House in Bonnybridge appears in the 1881 census for Denny along with two of his grand children:

Jeanie Elder, who was 23 yrs old, born in Dunbarton; and
Robert Elder, who was 12 years old and born in Lanarkshire.

I would like to know who Jeanie & Roberts parents were and wonder whether anybody might have this information?

Have you tried looking for Andrew and his family in the 1851 Cencus?

You might get a note of any daughters still living at home. This would narrow down a search for a marriage search for xxx Stirling and xxx Elder.

Alternatively, there's always Scotland's People. As both Jeanie and Robert were born after statutory registration, both births should be available to view/download.
