The Cantwell Knights of Strongbow 1170

Dear Rootschatters, looking for any connections to these families please:-
Richard DENNER born abt 1790 England (probably Cornwall) occupation Labourer 1841 Census, married unknown unknown. Had at least one child that I can find at present, James DINNER born 1818 Newton Abbot, Devon, England.
James DINNER married 4 April 1841 Stoke Climsland, Cornwall to Mary Ann PINE born 17 Dec 1820, South Hill, Cornwall. Mary Ann PINE was the daughter of Richard PINE and Elizabeth CRUSE. (Elizabeth CRUSE had first married George JANE 1759-1808). Mary Ann PINE had two known elder siblings, Elizabeth PINE born 1811, and Henry PINE born 1814 all born South Hill, Cornwall.
James & Mary Ann DINNER had 8 children. First 2 children born England, last six born Australia.
1.Richard DINNER chr. 5 Dec 1841 Stoke Climsland, died 1844 Eng.
2.Lavina DINNER born 1843 unknown, England married PETHYBRIDGE Aust.
James and Mary Denner, and child (Lavina) arrived in Adelaide SA from Plymouth 31.7.1846 aboard the ship "Canton", the journey taking some 3 months.
3.James DINNER born 1847 Adelaide, South Australia
4.Henry DINNER born 1849 Adelaide, South Australia
5.Elizabeth DINNER born 1850 Adelaide, South Australia
6.Eliza B. DINNER born 1856, Back Ck, Bourke, Victoria, Australia *
7.Emily DINNER born 1862 Malm, Victoria, Australia
8.William DUINER (sic) born 1863 Tara, Victoria, Australia
* gg grandmother, married John Henry PARKER

G'Day alleycat,got a later Denner,1885-1964.Name Percy Denner Binstead.
Also have an Attwood,much earlier,convict,'m' a Mary Prendergast,also convict,you need more info;I'll scrabble it from my tatty note,s!
A female Parker,1700's 'm' a Wlm Binsteed,thought to be one of 'mine',same there,same notebook,s!!

Blimey,give and thou shalt receive ,I'm gonna be busy with that lot!
The Attwood feller married,as far as I've been able to trace,'m' a Mary Prendergast,she, I believe was listed as 'missing' after she was transported.There is a grave in the family plot in Carrick on Suir,with no body in it,this goe,s for other 'Convict,s' of the family.
Now I'm off to explore!!

Goggy, You're welcome. Crikey that sounds bad about the burial without the body. I just felt a shudder.
PRENDERGAST seems like a good name to research though, much better than SMITH and JONES, hey?  Let me know if you want me to create a PRENDERGAST page at familytreecircles, I'm on there as 'allycat' too in case you hadn't noticed.
And the ATTWOOD one name study guy has a guestbook that you can send him a message. He's interested in every single ATTWOOD, all spellings. I've got a couple myself from Lambeth. Plus lots of ***convicts*** on my CANTWELL side.

Hey there, didn't know you were a South Australian! I live near Steve Irwin's (sniff) Crocodile Park.
I'm having fun doing some genealogy, playing Wiggles songs for my toddlers from the net and feeling a nice cool breeze for a change coming into the house.

Yeah,I know how you feel about that real genuine bloke,but he went doing what he loved,what more can a feller ask for?I feel for those left to mourn him.Must be like hell on earth.
Sound,as though you are having a good time with all that activity!Just as well there,s a coooool breeze!!
Im thick as two short one,s at this game,plus the fact that one woman,from guess where,and her Husband,my G,parent,s didn't think to leave more info;behind for a dumb cluck of a G'son.
BUT! I've learned a lot and enjoyed it,it,s amazing what come,s up in the searche,s.
