ive found my g grandfather birth place on a 1881 census as norton, staffordshire - anybody  know were this is / what its called today (is it norton canes?)

Hi,
Norton Canes is in the south of the county. Cannock Walsall area.
There is a Norton in the Moors in the north of the county - near Burslem, Stoke on Trent.
There are also several smaller places with Norton in their names.
