Hi,
Can any one help me find Margaret A Younghusband on the 1891 and 1901 census's for Cumberland. She was born in 1877, at Barton, Westmorland, and her mother is Mary, born 1846, at Lazonby, Cumberland. I do not know who her father is.
Thanks, 001

Hi CatOne,
I have placed a request for earlier records for Isaac Younghousband, but I do also need some for his wife Mary Scott, who was born around 1846, in Lazonby, Cumberland.
Thanks for all the help, 001

Well this looks like the closest match in 1851, will check the other censuses too, to confirm -
1851 HO107/2426 Folio 413 Page 6 Scalerigg, Staffield, Cumberland James Scott 31 Farm Baliff Caldbeck Ann 26 Kirkoswald Mary 5 Kirkoswald Thomas 3 Kirkoswald John 1 Kirkoswald

This does look like the family. There is a major clue in the names of Isaac's and Mary's children;
John James Younghusband - John was Isaac's father, so James looks like it is Mary's Margaret ann Younghusband - Margaret was Isaac's mother, so Ann looks like it is Mary's.
