many thanks for all of latest info ...it was Carrie as we were aware that they emigrated to Canada . we still do not know who the father was of both Minnie and Arthur as they both were illegitimate !!Minnie had a strange third Christian name of Offen and have often wondered if it was associated with her biological father ?? Any details you mentioned would be most welcome ! ACKY

hello acky
At the Knoll, Sherington, Bucks is
Owen Oldham, head, age 59 born Moulsoe, Bucks Fanny Scanwell Oldham, wife, age 57 born Sherington George Simco ? looks like Vince ? Oldham, son, age 27 born Sherington Carrie Louise Cole, niece, age 25, born Sherington
They all seem to be working as Mineral Water makers
see this site http://www.mkheritage.co.uk/shhs/kelly1895.htm it lists Oldham & Co, non-intoxicating ale-brewers Oldham Owen, baker
Also have you marriage of Minnie Elizabeth O Gough in Ampthill in June 1889 to a Richard Ping, living in Cranfield on 1891 census.
Again if you want details let me know
Regards John
