Hey ...I'm so glad i just read this..
I joined yesterday.. and some kind soul sent me a Pm.. and I kept looking.. and looking and i just couldn't see how to reply..
I did notice this thread here and looked at the beginning.. but there's quite a few pages so today i cheated and looked at the end..
I was actually going to come on here and jump up and down with glee.. at having, ( so i thought!!!) discovered how to use the fiendish thing..
As co-incidentally I'd made a couple of posts today.. which of course fixed the problem..
So thanks folks.. I thought I was having a particularly slow moment...

If you have any questions, just ask - we all remember what it was like to be new.
You can find the Moderators at the bottom of the main page - we're the ones in red - click on a name and send a Personal Message (if you've made enough posts to make the system work) or just start a new topic on the Beginners board to ask generally and we try to keep an eye open to answer them.

Next time I find myself stuck i'll go in search of a nice red mod to help me out..
From what i've seen... theres a really nice athmosphere here.. so its a pleasure to be here.. and hopefully..i'll soon find my way around.. without being too much of a pest..

Well, you have cracked posting a "normal" message.
You need to post a couple more times on the boards in order to activate the Personal Message system, if that what you meant.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I'm trying to contact Poldweia. I tried to send you a Personal Message but have now discovered that Rootschat rules state that a new Rootschatter has to make 3 postings before they can use the Personal Message system (it's a security thing!). You should get notification of this message as you've already contributed to the thread. Can you please make 2 more posts to bring your total up to 3 and then send me a Personal Message just to let me know that you're 'up and running'. It's to do with the Barsleys of Lincolnshire - you and I are the only Rootschat members with the name Barsley listed in their Surname Interests. I'll keep my fingers crossed that I'll hear from you.
