i have found a family on the letrim-roscommon census returns for wexford i think this is the family i am looking for,as dates and names seem right.
help what do i do now?Huh
can i get a copy? also how can i get birth or death certs for this family?
how can i link this family to the one i am tracing,i know the daughter of the family i am trying to find had a baby when she was in her late thirtys,and that her brother moved to wales and married,later taking on his sisters baby as thier own after the death of thier young daughter.

Hi,
You can see film copy censuses at LDS centres. You will need the info - parish etc and reference number- you can possibly get this through theFamily Search LDS site first- otherwise a kind person at the centre would usually help. That will probably have a bit more information for you.
It usually takes a few weeks to come and then they keep it for aout 4 weeks- not expensive at all.
If the parish records are filmed you can order these too.
My local centre has Irish BMD indexes but don't know if all do carry them. Then you can search around the years you have- 1865 onwards I think for Catholic records.
Once you have some (fairly) reliable dates - you can send off for Irish records.

Again it is not that expensive- you usually get a photocopy of the extract in the records - justa strip but it has relevant info on it.
