Hi There
Does Anyone live near Enfield Evergreen Memorial Cemetery Adelaide Australia? and can spare a little time (or a lot!)
If so I could do with a very important look up of a grave there - I think he will be in the C of E section if that is any help
EDWIN BIRCHALL DIED 12 NOV 1990 we know he is buried there, husband of Ethel
Can anyone please help?

I'm so sorry but I seemed to have missed your post 
We have since received the death certificate for this man and it is the man we are looking for........at last we found him, although according to his death cert he had only been in Australia for 7 years before his death. I have contacted Ceejay, thanks very much for your suggestion...........fingers crosssssed

Dear Jan, Hi I'm happy for you. That's great news.
If your relative was only in Australia for 7 years prior to his death, then I suppose it would be fruitless to try and check on the local family history societies in the area? But I suppose it could be a lead... I'd suggest closing this topic and create another thread asking rootschatters what is the names of the local Family History/Genealogy Groups in the area, Adelaide.
