Always being asked to log-in.
« on: Sunday 11 June 06 00:33 UTC (UK) »

I am always having to re-activate my details just about with every visit to rootschat.

It drives me nuts as I have to look up details each time - poor memory and multiple passwaords don't help.

I have never received an activation email either.

Is this usual practice?

Hello Joy

I am no expert, but I seem to remember a box that could be checked which said "Always stay logged in".  Silly question - did you check this box on logging in?

I don't think you could join in without receiving your activation e-mail, but perhaps others will correct me.

I share your frustration with remembering mulitple passwords, and tend to stay logged in all the time. Hopefully someone else can help with your query.

kind regards, Arranroots  Wink

Hope you don't mind my adding on Arranroots.

Joy, are you perhaps one of those people who "tidy up" each day before they log off - ie do you delete your cookies and clear your temporary files?  If so then your cookie will be deleted each time you do this and your computer won't remember your login.
