Does anyone have a Twig in their tree,,,,,,,,,, lurking..............or a marriage with a Twig/Twigg ...or any Twig  seen......whilst surfing the internet..........hidden under the bed or tucked in the cupboard

A Sarah Twig would be lovely but anything else would be most gratefully received.

Are you sure you only want one Twig Huh
I can offer you Twigs, Hugh, clothes dealer, 25, Rosemary Street, Belfast
Source - 1852 Directory of Belfast and Province of Ulster.

I have a K. Twigg in the 1969 Bangor Directory ... Co. Down. They were not there in 1970/1

Ancestry.com gave me 20 matches for Sarah Twig in their UK and Ireland Collection. 
I was unable to look at them. Their cupboard seems to be locked.

Hugh in Donegore is a brother to my gggfather Joseph Twig of Ballysavage the other bothers being Thomas, John and Edward are there any girls.... Grin please

Hi, unfortunately I don't have any dates as yet.  I'm searching through old family photos and documents to see if I can find any more info.  Do you happen to have any photos of your Twigs? I have found a few pics but not sure if any of them are Twigs.

I only have one when Sarah Twig Jr was an old lady ,I do not have any of her sisters either.

Post the old pictures on the boards you never know someone might recognize someone  Grin

I have my ggrandmother Sarah Twig and her sisters birth ,marriage ,deaths etc

their mother was also Sarah Twig who died unmarried, unable to find her birth.

I have Sarah Sr parents death and marriage (Sarah Sr was present called daughter)

her parents were
Joseph Twig 
Mary McShane
married Donegore 18/04/1846

witness John Twig  (Josephs brother...have his death ,unmarried)
             Mary McLane(McShane?)

Dennis(Denis) is Joseph's father  Tailor

Dennis is in the workhouse 18th June 1847 to 23rd July 1847 age 70 years a widow  ...discharged (not found a death for him)

in the workhouse there is also(not sure yet how they are related)

Eliza Twig 46 single servant  1845
William Twig 8 years
Mary Ann Twig 1 year

Alexander Twig widow b 1790 (missing)

Dennis Twig 1870 ish discharges (now missing)

also have these that need a family  Grin

Alice Twig age 39
died TB
a widow
 8/5/1886 ballamena
Alice Connoway present

Jane Twig age 64
died apoplexy 3 days
Garfield Place
widow servant
Ballamena
Jane Gilliland present

would like to find their spouses....
