Another bit that is interesting is that there are a couple of Couch families also living in Virgin Street

William Couch 67
Mary Couch 72

next door is - John Uren Couch 30
Catherine Wedge Couch 28

and then we have - William Perkin 51
Ellen Perkin 49

This is all 1901 and most born St Ives

Wendy said Perkin was connected to Couch?  I think

Hi Cazay,
Thanks for this....well I am not sure where the Couch comes into the picture.....what I do know is that Auntie Couch met Great Gran Ma and children when they arrived in Quebec Canada.....
Also that Nora Couch was a brides maid at Edwin's sister's wedding ......their is also a step sisiter Phyliss Sisely........

  Is it the one born in @1868?

                            same person Helen M in 1881
    She was b Helen MACKBRIDE perkin in 1878 Q2 5c vol 283.

  So thomas b 1868 is the uncle to your Thomas Wedge . Grin

Oooppsss....comp playing up.
Paulines info....
TWP b 1868 had a son TWP b 1892.
TWP 1868 had a sister Ellen McBride Perkin.  She had an Illegitimate son  (also TWP ) born 21st Aug 1899 in Penzance.
Census 1901 Ellen (down as Nellie) is living with her father Daniel & her son Thomas in Devonport.   Thomas is down as a son....but is a gran-son.
late in 1901 Ellen married Richard Hurson & thomas' surname changed to Hurson
