Woodcock marriage 1840

Hi, I am trying to find a marriage between Henry Woodcock and Theresa ? about 1840 in the Rotherham/Wickersley area - but am not having much luck. Henry himself was born in Tickhill and I have managed to find a marriage for a henry woodcock in a place called Harworth which is just next to Tickhill in 1841 - i was wondering if he could be the one im looking for...what do u think? I found him on IGI.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Info from the 1841 census Worksop HO107/1331/2 folio 4
Carlton
Firbeck Parish
John Woodcock 50 carpenter not born in county
Catherine  "       50                            "
Henry        "       20 Labourer             "
James Marsh 9 born in county

In the 1841 census the ages over 15 were rounded down to the lower 0 or 5

1861 Census Kimberworth RG9/3507 folio 103
Henry Woodcock head M 38 carpenter born Tickhill
Theresa wife 36 born Derbyshire
John son 19 carpenter born Wickersley
Frederick son 15 born Nottinghamshire
Mary Ann dau 12                 "
Sarah dau 6                        "
Alfred son 4        born Yorkshire  ?
Joseph son 3      born    ?   

All the places mentioned are close to Rotherham with the Notts border moving over the years in the Carlton Firbeck area. As you say Harworth is also close by but there is a -

Marriage Rotherham 3rd Quarter 1840 Henry Woodcock ref 22 355

So now you have a choice of two. Do you have a reference for your marriage,
send for the certificate with the proviso that the brides name is Theresa, try the Rotherham register office, I found them helpfull.

I have just looked and found -  Marriage Henry Flemming Woodcock Worksop 2nd quarter 1841 ref 15  973. Harworth would come under Worksop for registration. Does the Flemming ring a bell.

One of the children's birth certificates would at least give you Theresa's maiden name. It might be Levick as they had a visitor with that surname in 1871 and there were lots of Levicks from Eckington.
