Hi
I've got two Wigston families, and I know there is a connection between them because descendents of both knew each other.
But I cannot get the link,
so any help much appreciated  Smiley

Coventry family:
Samuel wigston b 1810 m Hannah b 1810
james 1830 Mary, John, William
Johnb 1837 m Caroline Powney b 1839
they had Clara b 1868, Ellen b 1873 Flora b1880.
Ellen married William Robert Flower who was born 1870.
It is their descendants that are known by the other Wigston family from Leics.

Here are the Leics family:
Joseph Wigston b1801 m Mary Brandreth b1801
they had John b 1828 henry b 1831 wm b1832, Emilyb1836.
Henry m martha Ann
and their family was George Henry b1852, Emma b1856, alfred b1858,Mary Jane, 1861 etc
George henry married in 1871 Eliza Kibby b 1856.
I'm not sure what family they had,
but I know Eliza had Joseph in 1880, and after being the husband/partner of Edward Plunkett had Edward jnr in 1890.

Edward jnr is my great grandfather,
Eliza my great greandmother.
My father born 1921 knew all the descendants of wm Robert Flower as aunts uncles and cousins.
so there must be a link with the two Wigston families.
I would LOVE to know what it is!!

Please can anybody help me with this?
It would solve a lot of family debates!

Plunkett, Kibby, Gittins, Bates, Forman, Stevenson, Crofts, Growdridge, Flower, Wigston, Ward , and in Scotland - McLauchlan, Paterson, Aughton, Speirs, McCallum, Gray, Gemmell, Hillhouse, Fredrick etc.......
