Census sample record

I'm using the Ancestry.co.uk 14 day free trial.
I came across this on their site, quite by accident - Database - 1851 United Kingdom Census Sample. Has anyone used  this Database?.

Hi Sarra,

I have used the census sample. I believe it is only 2% of England, Scotland and Wales. I suppose you could find what your looking for so it is worth a look, especially for free but more than likely you will find that the people you are looking for are not on it.

Hi Emma,
Thanks for answering my query. I don't quite know how I clicked onto the Census sample record. I have been searching all over England for my G3X grandfather Charles Brown and his wife Sally (nee Bailey). I did find an entry on the 1851 CSR for a Charles & Sally Brown, they are the right age, but I don't know if they are mine. They had a son George Edward Brown born 1830 Christchurch, London. I can't  find George Edward on the 1841 - 1851 census anywhere. He appears on the 1861 Census in the Parish of Southwark, St.George, Surrey.  By this time he is married with a wife and family. George married Elizabeth Edwards in 1853 at St.Mary's Lambeth Surrey. The entry on his marriage certificate says that his father Charles Brown was deceased. Where George was in 1841 & 1851 I have not been able to find. George Brown and his family migrated to Australia in 1862.
