I have a marr. cert. for George Watkins and Mary Bennet Feb 14 1841. His father is William Watkins, deceased, her father is George Bennet, deceased. Son George is born April 8th 1842. I also have a marr.cert dated June 19th 1864 for George Watkins and Mary Smith. He is listed as widower, father William Watkins, so I'm pretty sure it's the same chap. I've checked a few sources but can't find the death of the first Mary. She's on the 1861, so it must be between then and 1864 Can anyone find her, please?

Wellington registered in Hereford Registration District 1837 - 1930, so only those in Hereford would apply, providing the couple hadn't moved in the interim!
(Monmouth also registered in Herefordshire - or at least some Herefordshire parishes were included in the reg dist, but not Wellington, so you should be able to discount those.)
Just need to be a bit careful not to confuse Hereford and Herefordshire, Monmouth and Monmouthshire.
