Hello, I am interested in any information people have about the Hinders and the Lanes of the Bristol and Bedminster areas.
The furtherest I can go back with the Hinders is with Roger (1809-1886) and Sarah (1815-1893). I have the information about their 9 children (I descend from James (b1843). I am curious if anyone can go back any further than Roger and Sarah (I do not have her maiden name).
James' daughter Sarah Ann (1866-1946) married my great-great-grandfather Walter Lane (1866-1945). I believe his father was named George, who was from Corfe (b.1831). I believe his father was named Robert Lane (which also happens to be my name) and he lived from 1801-1873 and was married to Anne. I also have some information about Robert and Anne's three other sons. I would like confirmation that I am drawing the correct connectors between Walter and George from Corfe and his father (I am pretty sure Walter's father was named George, just not positive about this particular George).
Anyway, any additional information would be greatly appreciated. And if you are a Lane, a Hinder or some other relative, drop me a line.
