Welcome to Rootschat and have you seen

Topic: Social History Sources - General UK
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,158256.0.html

This is a board set up on Rootschat by our friend Gadget with lots of ideas for reading about social history in the last century.  I've certainly ordered some of the books in my quest to add meat to the bones of my family.

These books are great for giving you a 'feel' for the lives and occupations of our ancestors and I am finding them helpful for my website.
