McKenzie, John and Jemima
« on: Sunday 18 June 06 02:53 UTC (UK) »

Have determined that John married Jemima (Junor), Rosemarkie, Ross and Cromarty 29/08/1838 and that they had at least one son Alexander born 22/03/1841, Rosemarkie.
I am trying to find out more details on parents of Alexander, Births, Deaths other children etc.
Alexander was married in Prahran, Victoria, Australia 1867. How he came to Australia has been difficult to confirm although HIES has an Alexander on board " Edward Johnston" 1854. Age ties up but other family members do not.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Regards, Max

Perhaps you already know this, but on LDS there is a Jamima Junor born Jan. 5 1824 and christened March 1 1824 in Cromarty, Ross & Cromarty.  Parents are George Junor and Simona Wilkes.

To both Monica and Torrygirl. Thanks.
You wouldn't believe how many times I have searched both the Census and LDS over the last year without coming up with anything. I must be losing it.
Kind regards, Maxn.
