William Edwin Cook & wife Hephzibah
« on: Wednesday 22 October 08 18:19 UTC (UK) »

 Huh
Hephzibah Townsend was born on the 9th April 1826, Cherry Street, Birmingham, the daughter of John & Elizabeth Townsend.
She married William Goode on 14th March 1847 at St Phillip's, Birmingham. William died and Hephzibah re-married to William Edwin Cook on 24th June 1855, St Phillips, Birmingham. Sadly, William Cook died on 8th July 1858 at 8 Wharf Street, Aston leaving Hephzibah widowed again.
Hephzibah died on the 15th March 1887 in Blews Street, Birmingham.
I would like to find the origins of William Edwin Cook who I suspect was born about 1810-1812. His marriage to Hephzibah was his second marriage but I do not know any details of his first. The marriage certificate for his second marriage shows his father named as Joseph Cook and the residence was listed as Bull Street, Birmingham.
If anyone knows any information about William I would be very grateful as we have hit a real brick wall and are struggling to continue with our research.

Thanks,
Treefan.
