Hi

I have Thomas BARNES/BARNS his wife margaret and son Mark missing in 1851 in the Brackenber and Hilton area of Westmorland....have spent along time trawling through each area page by page..... Huh  and now I know why like many of you have found it is probably in the missing parts is there any other way to find them?

no address but next door to Close Houses

There was a Mark Bains in Appleby age 10 on 41 but I,m sure this is Barns if you compare the r is some other names on page

If the 41 family is correct have got Nancy Barns 17 general servant at Crackenthorpe b Bongate 2439a folio 117b p 220

And Margaret Barnes 14 farm servant b Hilton at Penny Hill Colby 2439a folio 169b p320
