Hi everyone, Smiley

Is there anyone doing research on the West or Watkins family.

Samuel West married Sarah Watkins on 27/7/1800 at All Saints Hereford

I am looking for any children from that marriage besides George.

If anyone can help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I dont know havnt found birth as yet all I know is he a at least 1 son Named George Samuel West and he married Sarah jane Clarke in 1854.

Sorry cant help any futher

Could be - he was baptised son of George and Mary West  at Leominster on 5th November 1751.
Could it be he named his son after his own father ??

If this is him, he did not marry until he was 49.

Hi,

I have found another possibility, William West and Ann? had a Samuel West christeneing 17/7/1771 at Leominster Hereford England as welll.

I havnt down much on the English side of my family been doing the Scots, can you tell me where I can find the birth death marriages and census for England that I can get copies of I would like to solve this mistery and the only way is to check out the census and go backwards from there. Do you have a connection to the West's if yes I have a large tree you can view.

Thanks for your help with this I'm stumped at the moment.

Seems a more likely date for Samuel. 
George does seem to be a popular name with the Leominster Wests though, so perhaps they named the baby after an grandfather or uncle.
But seems the right line with all those Georges on the IGI Counties listing.

Any trace of them on the 1841 census ?

I do not have access to the 1841 census and could not find them on the 1851 .
Can some one look please ?

What details are there on the marriage certificate such as ages, where it took place etc, witnesses
