Albiston, William - Birth and marriage record

I am looking for any information on Willaim Albiston born @1863 in Aberdeen, Scotland. I believe married Wilhimena (1868) sometime before 1886.

They had 8 children and around 1900 moved to Wallsend, Northumberland, United Kingdom.

Children's names are - Scott, Margaret, Wilhelmina, William, Handie, Thomas, George and Barbara.

Barbara immigrated to the United States in 1921 I think.  Any information will help. Thanks

Hello

Albiston being an unusual name attracted my attention.

www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk - a ppv site give 3 marriages to William Albistons in Aberdeen between 1855 and 1832 - the years when you can view them online.


1.  to a Margaret Jamieson in 1857
2.  to a Williamina MB Molyneux in 1883
3.  to a Elizabeth Booth Steele in 1913

The age spacing more than make them likely the same family.

If you don't have the marriage entry for no.2 which must be yours, advise me and I'll get the full entry - I've a few spare credits.

Just been on the IGI and see that Williamina Bowman Mckay Molyneux was born on 16 Aug 1867, St Nicholas, Aberdeen  (What a lovely name she had..)  'extracted' entry.  Parents Thomas Molyneux and Barbara Mckay.

Submitted entry - maybe yours? has her marrying a William Albiston on 30 Dec 1882 in Aberdeen.
