Hi, help please on my next not straight forward ancestor

On 10/02/1818 in Thurleigh, Joseph Partridge b 1797 Bletsoe married Elizabeth Young b 1793 Thurleigh.  On marriage entry it states  Elizabeth was a widow, Now then I'm looking for an Elizabeth Huh who married a Huh Young sometime between 1812-1817, & then the husband died before 1818.

Can I have NBI lookup for a male Young in Thurleigh that fits these date parameters & then I might find a marriage & then I might find Elizabeth's maiden name.

so no further forward but ....

in Thurleigh PR's we have
John Young son of Thomas & Elizabeth Young chr Thurleigh 07/08/1814
William Young son of Thomas & Elizabeth Young chr Thurleigh 15/09/1816

we have burial of William Young 04/03/1817 in Thurleigh age 6 months

so no burial of husband Thomas Young in Thurleigh

but on 1841 census in same household in Bletsoe is
     John Young b 1816
     James Partridge b 1817

especially it's the household of Henry Woods whose wife is Mary Ann (Partridge ) daughter of Joseph P - & brother to James
HO107/8/2 folio 6 page 6

Sorry, missed your Saturday posting.

The only Thomas Young who was buried in Beds between 1810-20 was age 37 in Clifton on 17 March 1817, but a Thomas and Sarah Young had been baptising children in Clifton up to 1817 so I think he can be ruled out.

Joseph Partridge age 32 was buried at Thurleigh on 21 Sep 1830, and Elizabeth Partridge aged 43 was buried on 3 Jun 1833. In 1841 I suppose it follows that as they had no parents to lodge with,  John Young and James P would stay with their sister/half sister.

I bet that Thomas Young and Elizabeth married in the period 1812-14 in one of the parishes in north Beds whose PRs have not been extracted onto the IGI after 1812. But why no burial of Thomas in Beds?  Had he simply done a runner and Elizabeth described herself as a widow when she remarried?

You might consider having at a look at the parish chest entries in Thurleigh to see if she was getting any parish relief - you never know, some kind churchwarden may have added a comment as to where her husband was - dead or disappeared.

Not a lot of help really!
