Hi everyone,

can someone tell me where to find the british births deaths marriage listings and also the census's for england.

I have been doing the scotish side of the family and go to Scotlands People for that info but I cannot find the correct pages for the English side of the family.

If someone could help me out i would be grateful..

There is the International Geneaeolgical Index [IGI] on www.familysearch.com, this has births and deaths they ahve recorded from the parish registers they have been allowed access to, so not all of them unfortunately, and they also carry the 1881 census.

The links at the top of this page take you to a site called Ancestry.com where you have to pay a membership.
Free births mariages deaths is at www.freebmd.rootsweb.com

But ask your questions here first as there are brilliant people on here who share their expertise and help you.
