Does anyone have any information on the Santa Maria Nursing Home Longford - where it was situated -  when did it close and was it run by the Sisters of Mercy?  I was born there and would love to know something about it.

I'm wondering if one of those Sisters of Mercy places on the link provided by Pat rang a bell with you. I searched the article for Santa Maria Nursing home and found nothing. Since you were born there I feel you might have had some difficulty remembering even by looking at pictures. If you're still searching I suggest you might get some assistance by contacting  ....
