Hello Mark, I have Ghost's in my tree. My 4th great grandmother was Ann Ghost born about 1778 in Tring. Also have 5th and 6th great grandfathers both named John Ghost. And the 7th is Hugh Ghost.
Are any of these names in your tree? If so it would be great to hear from you.
Heard of having skeletons in ones tree, but never heard of ghosts.
Regards, corsharn

WOW!! That's great!!
How are connected to that line?
Guess I don't need to tell you that Ann Ghost married Thomas Freeman? That's were my Ghost connection starts.

Hi Markn
I’ve seen your post about having Freeman’s in your tree and wonder if you might tell me whom they were and where they came from?
I don’t have any Thomas Freeman’s in my tree but I have quite a few Freeman ancestors who were in Meesden in Hertfordshire in the late 1800’s. Unfortunately lots of records for that area were lost many years ago and so am facing a brick wall in that particular branch. Although they state in the censuses from 1851 onwards that they were born in Meesden I’ve never been able to locate them in the 1841 census.
Thanks
Lyndsey

Hi Mark
Alas, I have nothing to link my Meesden Freeman’s to Harpenden or Hemel Hempstead. I have no Francis Freeman in my tree and I have a big gap in between the 1760’s and the 1820’s.
Thanks for replying so quickly. One day I might strike lucky…but not today!
Regards
Lyndsey
