I am trying to work out which of two William Armitages who were cousins, married which wife. All events below were in Offley
One William was baptised 1 Mar 1801 and the other 24 Sep 1809.
One of them married Mary Worsley in 1831 and the other Ann Smith in 1835.
William and Mary had children: Mary Ann 1836, Hannah 1839 (both of whom had illegitimate boys in the late 1850s)
William and Mary had children: John 1832 and Edith 1833 (died 1836)
I would be very grateful if someone could find the Williams in a census to confirm which married which wife from the census ages. I would also be interested in any other details in the census
Thankyou
David

Thank you Valda. I think you have taken me one step nearer because the Thomas age 82 was probably the father of one of the Williams and is consistent with their marriages being in the same order as their births.

Thank you again Valda my first reply crossed your second answer. The death details confirm my guess because Mary is remarried before Ann's husband the younger William dies.
Thank you again
