Bellew and Neary family of Staleen

Searching for any inforamtion on the Bellew family and the Neary family of Staleen.

My ggrandfather was John Bellew, and grandmother was Mary Ann Bellew who married Christopher Neary.

The Neary´s probably did not originate in Staleen as Christopher son of James Neary and Jane Carney was born in Curraha Parish Co Meath.

I have the Bellews in Staleen in the Griffith´s valuation

Unfortunately the Parish Register for Donore has a gap bewteen 1841 and 1850 which is around the time that my grandmother Mary Ann was born. Does anyone know what would have happened to births marriages etc during this period?

Any information would be great
