I had more of a query as to how to go about finding info--I had two great aunts who were religious nuns who emigrated to Australia and serve there all their livesI figure they left Ireland in the 1910's--1930? (my parents think in the Perth area but not sure). I have their birth dates-- Mary E. McIntyre was born 1886 and Annie Mc Intyre was born in 1894. Is there any suggestion you can give me? Thank you Deirdre

Hi there, Thanks for your kind offer. Could you please tell me whether you can locate the births of Alexander Plummer, 1851 and Charles Plummer,1852 in South Australia? The parents were Joseph and Agnes. Many thanks Treesearcher

Hi Treesearcher,
Couldn't see anything in S.A. between 1842-1906 for Charles or Alexander Plummer with parents Joseph and Agnes.
Sorry, are you sure it's S.A. ?
Wendy

I did find a Charles PLUMMER in the Cemtery Indexes, may be your Charles died in his infancy?? Won't be able to go and check the actual Cemetery Indexes until later this week.
Surname: PLUMMER Given name(s): Charles Date: 5-8-1852 Cemetery Index

Hi Wendy, Thanks - you have the right family. The parents were married in Adelaide in 1850. They moved to Victoria after Alexander and Charles were born - perhaps they never registered the boys' births. Thanks very much for the search and also the additional marriage info for Alexander - very helpful. Treesearcher
