Hello there,  I would be grateful if you could look up any info
on Qld. Pioneer index for info on the families of Richard Heath and Ann Irena White, married 7.4.1864.  Richard was born about 1837/8.  Also my paternal great-grandparents, John William (I think) Knowles who married Priscilla.  Sorry I do not have any other info on them, except I think they originally came from Birmingham, England.  By the way, what county is Birmingham in - all I can seem to find out is that its in the West Midlands.  Any information on the above would be a great help.  Thanks.

  Hello,
I am seeking info about the ship on which John and Mary McKinnon from Scotland came over to Australia with their son, Hector (app.2y.o.)  It would have been abt.1860.  Thanks.

I had more of a query as to how to go about finding info--I had two great aunts who were religious nuns who emigrated to Australia and serve there all their livesI figure they left Ireland in the 1910's--1930? (my parents think in the Perth area but not sure).
I have their birth dates-- Mary E. McIntyre was born 1886 and Annie Mc Intyre was born in 1894.
Is there any suggestion you can give me?
Thank you Smiley Deirdre    Smiley

No I'm afraid not. An educated guess would be when he was around 20 - say 1848/9. So maybe its between then & 1854 when he married there? Thanks for your interest. I've had a look at most of the 'shipping' sites that people have suggested on here, but can't find him at all!!

Hi there,
Thanks for your kind offer.
Could you please tell me whether you can locate the births of Alexander Plummer, 1851 and Charles Plummer,1852 in South Australia? The parents were Joseph and Agnes.
Many thanks

Hi Treesearcher,

Couldn't see anything in S.A. between 1842-1906 for Charles or Alexander Plummer with parents Joseph and Agnes.

Sorry, are you sure it's S.A. ?

Surname: PLUMMER
Given name(s): Charles

Hi Wendy,
Thanks - you have the right family. The parents were married in Adelaide in 1850. They moved to Victoria after Alexander and Charles were born - perhaps they never registered the boys' births. Thanks very much for the search and also the additional marriage info for Alexander - very helpful.
