Hi
I have been looking up the O'Shanassy family as they are related to us. I found the marriage of Michael and Flora on the Victorian justice department website I have looked at all the other O'Shanassy listings for marriages 57 of them and only 1 shows a Margaret O'Shanassy but she was marrying a William King in 1860.
You can search the records and it will come up with how matching items it finds. To view each result page is .99c which gives you the basic info. If you want to view an image or buy a certificate it costs $17.50. Here is their website if you want it.

Hello may I also take advantage of your very kind offer for a look up ,I have been researching my mothers cousin who emigrated to Geelong in 1914 he enlisted for world war one and was killed 1918 in France and received posthumously the Victoria Cross, now amongst his papers there is a letter from a Mrs C Symon's ,133 Hope Street,Geelong ,inquiring of his well being, to his commanding officer, what I don,t know but want to know is ,who is she ,What was she to him ,etc etc, his name was Robert Matthew Beatham born 1895 Many thanks for your time and help, Tsumi
Hi Tsumi
There is a possible Symons family living in Geelong during WW1. Charles Henry SYMONS and his wife Elizabeth Ann MORGAN. As in those days the wife was usually addressed using the husband's initial. It could possibly be the family your seeking.
Cheers
Genni

Hi Jenn How is your research going? I've found John Bayley, b 1819, Dorset on the 1841 census and have a copy of the passenger list for his arrival in Australia. Also that of Thomas Adams Bayley, with Martha. Have you been in touch with Janelle G.? Is there anything I can help you with? We share the same Thomas Adams Bayley, and Sarah Browning Bayley as our common Ancestors. Let me know, ok? Valerie

Hi Jackaroo, The only James & Isabella KINGHORN I can locate are the following. Elizabeth KINGHORN born 1854 at Bathurst,NSW & died 1865 at Orange,NSW Margaret born 1845 at Bathurst The parents are James & Isabella KINGHORN
James KINGHORN died 1878 at Orange,NSW. Parents Abraham & Margaret KINGHORN. Isabella KINGHORN died 1889 aged 79 years at Orange,NSW. Mother's name Charlotte.
There are quite a few marriages, deaths and births of grandchildren involving James & Isabella's children. Just too many to list here.
Margaret Kinghorn died 1848 aged 72 years at Bathurst,NSW I could not find a listing for Abraham KINGHORN'S death.
Hope this helps. Cheers Geoff

I am curious about the Jenkins and McLaren listing...I have an Ellen Jenkins b. abt. 1871 Wales. According to family stories, she met Alexander McClarren on board the ship to the US and married him...(this family spelled the name as above). I know nothing about Ellen nor can I find Alexander anywhere. Both appear in the 1900 Census. We think they arrived abt. 1886.
