Well if you can all do it, so can I (I think!) even if I did recently become a pensioner and a grandmother both in the same week!   As for white hair - I've had it since I was 15.

I have found this thread really interesting. I didn't read it for ages though because I thought it was about those old pictures of criminals that you sometimes get from criminal records.... And I though to myself, ""ah, I don't have any criminal ancestors, so I'll read a different thread..." Then I saw how popular it was and thought "Hmm, I must be wrong. It is far too popular to be about convict picture."

I am very dumb at times.

Howard

Is that your ancestor?HuhHuh

There is another thread about people with trees going back to Adam and Eve.  You can add King Arthur to yours, I dare you.

Hi Jill,

Congratulations at becoming a pensioner  & a Grandmother.  I am now both althought the children came first.  Yesterday I spent most of the day sat in a large cardboard box with the two youngest of my grandsons.  (I must admit I am a bit batty and previously worked with "under fives" & still not grown up!!!!! despite my birth cert.

So Jill enjoy you Grandchild & hopefully retirement.

Thanks Matty, that's nice of you.   Funnily enough my children came first as well!!   Ben is gorgeous - 3 months old now and as good as gold - a bit different to his father and his twin!

Best wishes.
