how big is the file ??
and what extension does it have ??
If you look closely at the Attach a photograph or image (and other options)..
you will see
Allowed file types: txt, jpg, jpeg, gif, tif, pdf, mpg, png, ged
Maximum attachment size allowed: 500 KB

Quick translation:
1 MB (Megabytes) = 1000 KB (Kilobytes)
(more or less, there are different schools of thought whether 1 MB is actually 1024 KB, but that is hair-splitting, in this context)
so 0,58 MB = 580 KB which is over the 500 KB limit.
