**Marriage in Tipperary**

I have been trying to trace the place where my  ggrandparents were married. I have  already tried BMD for England and Scotland, and found nothing.
My grandfather;their eldest son was born in Caher, Tipperary, so, maybe they were married in Ireland. The rest of their children were born in Luton, Bedfordshire.
My ggrandfather Arthur Edgar was born in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, England.
My ggrandmother Maggie was born in Ardersier, Inverness, Scotland.
I think that maybe they met each other there, in Ireland, while Arhtur was with  the British Army.
I would appreciate any assistance.

If Arthur Edgar married Maggie in or after 1864, you might find their civil marriage certificate from the local registrar's office in Clonmel co.Tipperary:

(Scroll down to no.15 'Local records offices').
You will need to know the approximate year of marriage.

If not, there may be a way of finding if military barracks kept their own records?? could they be at Kew records office? Other rootschatters, help?!
