Can anyone please advise me why the wife
name is missing off this census
Name: Andrew Cumming, Folio 1 page 9

I have an idea the wife maiden name was Murdoch and on the census Folio 1 Page 8 for same area etc there is a Wilhelmina Murdoch and it says "Name Uncertain" even the actual typing of the name is different to rest of that census listing

1841 Parish no 608 page 1 New Cumnock Ayrshire Aftonbridgend

Looks like a mistranscripton they have put Andrew for husband wife and son

Andrew Cumming male age 32
Andrew Cumming Female age 30 born Ayrshire
Alexander age 7 Ayrshire male
Andrew age 3 male Ayrshire
John age 5 male Ayrshire
Lilius age 11 female
William age 6 months male

Andew Cumming birth 1805 New Cumnock Ayr
Marriage 1930 New Cumnock Ayr

wife Andrew Murdock born 1809 New Cumnock Ayr

birth for a Andrew T Cummings about 1833 Aftonbridgend father Andrew  mother Andrew Murdoch
birth 1830 Lillias Cummings New Cumnock Ayr
father Andrew T Cummings mother Andrew Murdoch

These entries on familysearch are "submitted" so I would treat them with caution.
