Donald Munro & Catherine Dingwall
« on: Friday 30 June 06 15:57 UTC (UK) »

Sad I read a post some time ago, exactly where is beyond me at the present, concerning Donald Munro and Catherine Dingwall.  They were married in Rosskeen in 1831.  The post went on to list their seven children and also noted that  Catherine died in 1866 at Rosskeen. She was the daughter of Alexander Dingwall and Catherine or Isabella MacLennan
I would like to make contact with the writer of this post or with anyone else who may have interests in the Dingwall family in particular.

Smiley  Good Morning Don; If I'm on the right track, Catherine may be a sister to Thomas and Murdoch Dingwall.  Thomas is my G/G/Grandfather and I have been able to trace several of his descendent's but I have always been very interested in who were his other siblings.  Thomas's father, Alexander Dingwall, was from Fodderty and he did marry Isabella or Catherine MacLennan.  I have found the names Isabella and Catherine in different places so am unsure which one is correct although it does appear that Isabella may be the correct name.
Alexander, the son of Thomas, came to Canada in 1854.
If your information suggests that there is a connection then may I suggest we open up a dialog privately.
Many thanks for responding to my post.
