hi Annie , good site . thats started me of thinking ,must start wife side of family .They came from Italy then in the 1920/30's came to Scotland road  Liverpool .my problem is mother-in-law does not have good long term memory, also the grandparents didn't speak much English . oh well must start it one day . cool site .  Smiley

Hi Annie,

I feel I am a bit of a quest with Mig's family from Scottie Rd.  Grin  I have looked at old photo's held by the RO in Liverpool, but the photo Mig was after wasn't there. I have also been to Scottie Rd to take some pics for him.

Do you know If the RO hold photo's of Liverpool's Little Italy?  Maybe there is a photo there  Undecided

As i have started to delve deeper into our Italian side, i ave found that they came to Scotland first around 1900's and then later moved to Scotland road Liverpool around 1930ish, and later came to Manchester. around 1940's. here is a link to Manchester's little Italy. Our family were ice cream makers and restranters in Scotland and Liverpool.
