Hi Hoppity
There appear to be 10 childen listed to an Edmund & Mary WAKEFIELD on familysearch - all with birth dates but no places. Can we presume that they are all siblings? Have you found Celia on any census? When/where/who did she marry?

Hi Casalguidi,
Yes she was on the 1841 Census - age 30 years, living at Laundries Farm, Linsted. On the 1861 Census - age 54 (born Ulcombe, Faversham), she was still in Lynsted. I cannot find her on the 1851 Census.
She married a James Foreman c. 1819 Faversham (no records of any family). Then she married a Robert/George Goldsmith on 2.12.1827 (Minster, Isle of Sheppey).
According to the censuses and bits and pieces I have got, she was born around 1804/1807 Ulcombe/Alkham, Kent.
This record on the LDS could well be her, if I can only find out where in Kent this person was born. There is another Celia Wakefield listed on LDS but the birth is earlier, and is in Ulcombe. However I need to eliminate this Celia Ann Wakefield born in 1806.
On the marriage to Robert/George Goldsmith and James Foreman, she was named as Celia Ann Wakefield.
Thank you for taking the time to help.
Kind regards Hoppity

This looks like she in 1851:
Murston Road, Sittingbourne
George GOLDSMITH head mar 63 horsekeeper b.Greenstreet? Kent Ceclia wife 44 b.Lenham Rachel dau 15 b.Linsted Edwin son 10 b.Linsted Alfred son 8 b.Linsted Edith dau 4 b.Linsted Ann dau 1 b.Sittingbourne
HO107/1627 folio 206 page 4 and the following page ..................
It doesn't help much with confirming that birth that you found on the IGI but would probably confirm her birthplace as in the Ulcombe/Lenham area ............... they are near to each other.
Do you have the names of marriage witnesses from either of her marriages - just wondering if there may be a clue there

Hi Casalguidi,
Sincere apologies for the delay in responding - been a bit poorly!!!
Thank you so much for the 1851 entry, I think it may well be her, but will look into it.
The marriage to George Goldsmith gave the following information:
Marriage Entry in the register of the parish of Minster, Isle of Sheppey, states George, widower, and Celia Ann Foreman, widow, were married in the parish church by banns, witnessed by Dan Bentley? and Edward Garrett?. Entry No. 138.
Unfortunately I havent been able to match anything that I have found.
I have no information from the marriage to James Foreman, her first husband, only that they were married around 1819 in Faversham, Kent. James Foreman was born around 1794 Faversham.
Have you any other suggestions I can try. Any help is really appreciated.
Kind regards Hoppity
