I have a family Johnston listed on 1901 census as living in and keeping a pub in  High Street Ross on Wye. Would  anyone know of any listings of pubs around that time as it does'nt give a name.

You will find this in a commecial directory for 1901, such as the Post Office or Kelly's Directory.
I have a JAkeman and Carver Directory of 1914, and there is no Johnston listed by then as being a publican.
