The Cheshire Constabulary now has an official website for its Archives www.museumofpolicingincheshire.org.uk The site also contains a form for those people searching for their Police ancestors in Cheshire and its constituent forces which were. Altrincham, Hyde, Stockport, Staylbridge, Congleton, Warrington, Widnes, Birkenhead, Wallasey, Chester.
