Feery family
« on: Sunday 09 July 06 22:02 UTC (UK) »

Hi does anyone have any info about the Feery family from Offaly/Westmeath. I have found a few on I.G.I and some on the Griffins Evaluation, but nothing else! Any info would be gratefully received. With thanks Sorcha

My Grandmother Emily Daly (Nee: Feery) married James Daly and lived in Kilbeggan, County Westmeath. She had 14 children, the last being my late father born in 1947. I do not know where she came from originally, nor where she married. They were R.C.
I believe she moved to England in 1950, after James died in 1949. She may have been from the Eastern-Southern Civil Parish of Westmeath, Rahaugh (There were many daly's and Feery's there in 1845/54). That was/is on the Westmeath/Offaly county border.
   I hope that helps.
