Searching for little needles in big haystacks

If anyone out there is researching William & Mary Fisher ( nee Lodge ) of Finkle Street Pontefract I have a lot of information for them including Census extracts, Birth, marriage and death certificates, Unfortunately I went off on a wild goose chase believing that my 2nd great -grandfather George Fisher was born in Pontefract
When I finally cornered him I discovered he was born in Deeping St James, Lincoln!
If anyone needs the above info they are most welcome.
