Hi... anyone know of the Green's from Portsea?.... I have a Henry George Green born around 1802 in Westbourne, but lived in Portsea and was a Shipwright. his second marriage to a Margaret Maria Ellis from Brighton, (again 2nd marriage, was previously Bentley) produced my gr-gr-grandfather George Bentley Green. Henry's father was Richard Green an attorney. I can't find anything on Richard or where he was from, I have found census records for Henry prior to his marriage to Margaret listed as a widower with 2 children, Augusta and Richard, I have also found 3 possible children, all named Henry and another named Elizabeth, I think they are all the same family. I can find no birth records for Henry George being born in Westbourne Sussex. If anyone has any info I'd be grateful,
