Hodgson/Pounder of Lummars House, New Forest.- Completed.

I am seeking details of the birth and parentage of Thomas Hodgson of Lummars House, New Forest, one mile north east of Whashton, near Richmond.  Thomas was born c 1801 in Hurst and married Mary Pounder (born c 1804 in Hurst) in Kirby Ravensworth 6th February 1821.  Their eldest child, Isabella, married John Langstaff (my gg grandfather,) and moved to Thornton Watless.
Thomas was resident at Lummars until his death in 1881, when the farm tenancy was taken over by his 8th child (2nd son) William who by 1901 was a milkman in Shildon, Co. Durham.
Also interested in the birth & parentage of Mary Pounder.
Both surnames, Hodgson & Pounder, are common In the Hurst/ Marske/ Holgate area, but no links have been established.
Interested in the history of Lummars House (- have visited.)
Any help would be appreciated.
