I am looking for James Thompson who married Martha Lounton around 1854-55
I have him an agricultural laborer living at Borewell Scemerston on the birth certificate of his daughter their first child Martha I have paid for a search at the Berwick Archives for the marriage with no luck
Pl;ease can anyone help

Hello Emma
All I have about James Thompson is from the birth certificate of my grt grandfather born at Scremerston his father James is from Scotland married to Martha Lounton from Tweedmouth
I have the birth of their first born Martha and that is at Borewell Scremerston 1855
I paid for a search at Berwick archives and they could not find the marriage
also it was not entered at the register office at Berwick
