Isaac Henton - Sibson

With lots of help from Pinetree and Mike I'm beginning to piece together my Sibson connections.

My GGG Grandfather was Isaac Henton born around 1781 in Sibson. I think his parents were Richard Henton and Susannah Pearson who married in 1778. I was wondering if anyone has access to the records of baptims and could confirm this for me?

The only Isaac showing up with the recourses I have to hand is as follows :-

St Boltoph Church Sibson.

Christening
Isaac
29th. December. 1748.
Father :- Isaac.
Mother :-  Eliz.

Also one for a  Richard
18th. Febuary 1757.
Father : - Isaac
Mother : - Eliz

Christening’s found for
Children born to Richard & Susannah Henton :-

Elizabeth.
Christened 30th. January 1785.
Died 4th. September. 1790.

William.
27th. April. 1788.

Mary.
22nd. January. 1792.

Burials found for Sibson
Names. / Dates. / Age.
HENTON   RICHARD   21   JAN   1836   78
HENTON   SUSANNAH   21   MAY   1836   88
HENTON   ISAAC   18   DEC   1854   74   ABODE ATHERSTONE

I’ll see what I can find out this week at the Records Office

OH Dear !!!! …….. The Parish Registers were awful……  Shocked
I was not able to read or decipher any of the entries
Due to the aging of the records Mildew deposits all over them….
So it just left great black splodges over the writing…
( No wonder there was no mention of the early years on any of  my disks )

But….I was able to read the following  :- ……. Grin

Richard Henton. Bachelor of the parish of Sibson in the County of Leicestershire.
Susannah Pearson. Spinster of the said same Parish.

Married in this Church by Banns. and published on three separate Sundays.

This 12th Day of October 1777.
By me :- Joseph Jones. Curate.

Richard signed by his own signature
Susannah by her own Mark  = X.

In the Presence of :-
Joseph Henton.  By his own Mark  = X.
Dorothy Borld. / Barford …? (Not to clear)....Also  by her Mark = X

So with the different Year of Marriage I had a good look around but drew a blank…Sorry
So…… Isaac MUST be under those splodges..... Roll Eyes
 
But did spot the other Baptisms I have already given you in my last post which checked out to be correct as my post……

Once again I’m sorry I did give it my best shot…. Sad
In fact at one point there was three of us around the fiche reader
trying to make it out but failed …..
